With just one ability missing: Please update this app with opening with spotify/iTunes/deezer and quit or hide with closing those applications. It would be perfect then.

Exactly what I was looking for, so glad someone mentioned this in a review of an inferior controller app. Free, shows Spotify artwork, looks nice, what else can you want? Since Spotify doesn’t build a mini-player in, this is the next best thing.

Forget every other music player widget on the App Store. This one is the best designed with just the right amount of functionality.

There are an endless number of miniplayers for Spotify. So far I like Silicio the most. It has the best quality album arts, minimalist interface, can set it to always stay on top of other windows, and since the latest update it can be set to be visible on all desktops/spaces. Plus keyboard shortcuts, if I ever need to hide it.

Best widget EVER !!! Now even with Spotify support. The only feature I miss is the ability to skip to a certain point of the song by clicking into the widgets progress bar. Maybe a little knob or something would be great for manuvering in the progress bar. As I said, this is the only little thing I would like there to be, which would make this widget perfect !!! This is by far best of all iTunes widget, on the AppStore by now, even better than Apples. For it supports Spotify and Radio and does not fill up as much space in the Notification center, but still has a great UI design. And its FREE !!!

Nice App. Hope to see Deezer for Mac support soon and also a way to hide the Dock Icon. Thx. Very looking forward to ongoing development.

I liked how the widged displays metadate that is very missing from the default notification comming from iTunes. However it would be nice to show music that is being played online in Safari, Chrome etc. for example from Spotify web player.

Liked the app a lot. Will remain on my notification panel Today’s view! I use it with the spotify mac app. As future updates would love to see more shortcuts in addition to the music controls (share, add to my music, shuffle, ...)

Great little app, clean design, album art looks great (and works despite many other similar apps in the App Store not working, due to an update of the Spotify Desktop app). Thanks Silicio team!

…from the Notification Center widget sidebar!

It works and looks very nice, but you can’t even rewind the song, click on the artist / album or view your playlist, etc. It’s kinda pointless in it’s current form because you already could control your play / stop and next / previous functions from your keyboard. Please make those improvements and it’ll be perfect :).

now it doesn’t scrobble music. and it is useless for me

All the miniplayer function and (what I use apps like this for) pretty display of your album art right on the desktop ^.^ It’d be nice to see some skin sets added or a minor request of making certain corners square so it can sit flush against your screen border and match the Dock.

For once, a mini player and today widget that works with just about every major media player out there! The only complaint that I have is that the “All music players are stopped” placeholder in the today widget is much taller than it needs to be. Vertical space in the today center is very valuable for folks like me, so please make that more compact. Otherwise, I love it! Kudo’s to the developer, keep up the great work!

I use multiple screens, and this little widget allwos me to pause, fast-forward, or reverse from any of them, just by moving the widget around.

Wonderful little app. Suggestion to the developer: please provide the option to make the artwork bigger. It would be woderful to be able to admire big cover art on my Desktop. Coming from an LP lover in the digital age.

Just what I’ve been looking for in a simply widget and desktop mini player.

By far the best Application to display the current playing Song/Podcast/Move or TV Show in the Dashboard. Does more, costs less, is that simple!
